Marsèll worked with Sara Lanzi to create
feminine yet contemporary styles

Hailing from Perugia in the Italian region of Umbria, autodidactic designer Sara Lanzi launched her womenswear line in 2005 to near-immediate acclaim, winning first prize in a Vogue Italia young talents competition. Minimalism characterizes Lanzi’s modus operandi as well as her aesthetic concept. With her proclivity for working with raw materials, Lanzi may rely on a single textile to furnish an entire collection. Stimulating and tactile textural techniques, like sharp pleats with a softened appearance, add an uncanny dimension to Lanzi’s diaphanous dresses and skirts, while understated accents bring character to modified button-down shirts, coats, and other sophisticated womenswear separates.

Sara Lanzi decided to collaborate with Marsèll to complete the look of her colourful dresses and skirts.
